Convenient Care Services is a registered NDIS Disability Support Service Provider. We specialise in delivering high-quality In-Home Supports, the Rapid Hospital Discharge Program (RHDP), and Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation. The Opportunity
We are seeking a young female Support Worker / Mentor for an exciting new opportunity within our network, supporting a lovely teenager female participant based in Camira.
Because this participant is sensitive to the perceived social stigma of having a support worker, we are framing this role as a mentor and older friend. The ideal candidate will be a master at building genuine trust, displaying high levels of empathy, flexibility, and patience.
The Strategy
- Phase 1 (Building Rapport): Starting at one day a week, you will initially hang out with her at home to slowly build a comfortable connection.
- Phase 2 (Community Engagement): Once trust is established, your goal will be to gently motivate her to try new activities, get out of the house, and eventually transition to fun respite outings.

Position Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience supporting youth aged 10+ with disabilities or mental health challenges.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems for record-keeping.
