We are seeking a passionate Educator to fit into our team, if you have a genuine passion for working with children aged 2-5 years old, have completed a Bachelor’s, diploma or cert 3 in teaching or Early Childhood Education, must be approved ACECQA qualification and if you are confident with the EYLF and NQF then this may be the role for you.
The successful candidates will be supported by the Manager/Nominated Supervisor with whom you will work in partnership, to ensure smooth day to day running's of the centre.
You will be a highly motivated individual who has a love for working with children who is able to complete shifts between 7:00am-5:30pm.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor or Early Childhood education (ECT) or
- Diploma in Childcare and Education or
- Certificate 3 in early Childhood
- Working with children check
- First Aid and CPR certificate
Your duties:
- Working within a team to ensure smooth running of the room
- Develop, plan and implement a quality program that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework & NQS
- Monitor and document children's progress & individual children's portfolios
- Mentor and guide less experience staff within the centre
- Develop, maintain a positive open relationships and communication with staff, children and families of the centre.
- Contribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
- Comply with the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
- Assisting children with their daily routines & support them in their learning
- Create a stimulating environment to foster & support children's development
- Ability to complete required documentation in relation to children and the service operations. Plan and implement experiences based on children's interests and developmental requirements.
- Maintain appropriate WHS requirements
- Understanding of EYLF, NQS and relevant legislation
- Ensure our philosophy, policies, and procedures of service are upheld
