The Role
We are seeking a skilled, qualified Hydraulic Control Technician to join our Perth workshop team. This position is primarily workshop-based, focusing on the assembly, maintenance, overhaul, and testing of hydraulic cylinder components and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stability, consistent hours, and a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Rebuild, service, and test hydraulic components in the workshop
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on valves, cylinders, and systems
- Interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Assist with system assembly, upgrades, and commissioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
About You
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, valves, and controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic electrical or control system knowledge (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, team-focused, and self-motivated
- Current driver’s licence
Desirable
- Trade qualification in Mechanical/Hydraulics or similar
- Experience in a workshop environment
- Exposure to testing and commissioning hydraulic systems
- Forklift licence or other relevant tickets
