NEXTT is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to provide ongoing support to a participant in the Taree area living with a spinal cord injury.

About the Role You will be providing individualised support to the participant in their home and within the community.
Duties may include:
- Personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Bowel care and other complex personal care supports
- Pressure care and wound care
- Domestic assistance and household tasks
- Community access, including shopping, appointments, and social outings
- Medication prompting
- Supporting the participant to build independence and achieve their goals
- Providing companionship and developing a positive professional relationship
- Assisting with transportation to activities and appointments where required
- Supporting the participant with caring for and engaging with their children during visits
Available Shifts We are currently offering a variety of shifts, including:
- Morning shifts
- Afternoon shifts
- Evening shifts
- Inactive sleepover shifts
Pay Rates (SCHADS Award – Level 3.1 Casual)
- Monday to Friday: $35.15 per hour
- Afternoon Shift: $38.67 per hour
- Active Night Shift: $39.37 per hour
- Saturday: $49.21 per hour
- Sunday: $63.27 per hour
- Public Holiday: $77.33 per hour

✔ Comfortable assisting with bowel care, pressure care, and wound care
✔ Strong communicators with a positive attitude
✔ Able to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (P2 or Full Licence)
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
- Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Australian working rights
