Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in general carpentry and possess knowledge of formwork carpentry. This is a full-time position based in the Sydney metropolitan area, with work across various building sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general carpentry tasks, including the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.
- Execute formwork carpentry for concrete foundations, walls, and other structures.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment required for carpentry work.
- Ensure work meets safety, quality, and building standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Travel to and work at different building sites across the Sydney metropolitan area.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of formwork carpentry techniques and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license and ability to commute to various sites within Sydney.
Compensation:
- Annual salary: $75,000 to $85,000, based on experience and qualifications.
