Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for enthusiastic and motivated speech pathologists to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus on a casual basis. As a casual member of our team, you will be providing clinical backfill as required with the additional option to work weekend shifts.
About the Role
You will provide a quality speech pathology service to an adult inpatient population presenting with swallowing and communication disorders associated with a broad range of diagnoses. You will be part of a supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing the best evidence-based care for our patients. You will be supported in your career development with a specialised mentoring and coaching program and have access to instrumental assessments (VFSS and FEES).
About You
Ensure you address each of the selection criteria listed below in your application – refer to the ‘Apply’ section:

Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with eligibility for full practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).

Clinical skills and experience in the assessment, diagnosis and management of adults presenting with swallow and communication deficits across a range of clinical areas.

Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate treatment programs including group programs.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a complex hospital environment.

Excellent caseload and time management skills with proven ability to independently meet clinical and non-clinical role requirements.

Demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in a complex clinical environment.

Previous clinical experience with an adult caseload in a hospital environment is highly desirable.

Additional Information
