Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Financial Systems & Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, insightful and scalable financial reporting across the organisation. Acting as the key link between Finance and Technology, you'll transform complex financial data into meaningful business insights through the design and development of interactive Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting solutions.
In this role, you'll lead the evolution of our reporting capability by driving automation, standardising reporting processes and reducing reliance on manual reporting. Working across platforms including Power BI, NetSuite, NSPB and Excel, you'll ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy and a trusted single source of truth that supports informed decision-making across the business. You'll also partner with key stakeholders to continuously improve reporting frameworks, support system enhancements and deliver innovative analytics solutions.

With strong technical capability and a collaborative approach, you're confident partnering with both Finance and Technology teams to deliver reporting solutions that are accurate, scalable and user-friendly. You have a passion for continuous improvement and enjoy identifying opportunities to streamline processes through automation and smarter reporting.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports and data models.
- Experience working with financial reporting systems such as NetSuite, NSPB or similar ERP/planning platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of financial data, reconciliation and reporting best practice.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
