About the role:
Your role is mixed between production duties and managing the yard. You will be involved in production tasks; cutting, folding and assembling products. Yard duties revolve around having trucks loaded and ready for delivery, while keeping the yard presentable and operational. Vehicle maintenance and electrical trailer repairs will be part of your role.
Responsibilities:
· Operating power tools and fabrication machines
· Forklift Driving
· Coordinating Loading trucks
· Truck and Trailer maintenance
· Keeping a tidy yard
· Liaising with our foreman and operations managers
Candidate requirements:
· Applicant must possess a level of mechanical aptitude
· Applicants must have forklift certification
· Being able to work independently and in teams is essential.
· Strong applicants will be proactive and take initiative
· Heavy vehicle license favourable
· Experience in securing loads is highly desirable
