About the Role
The ANUM, under the direction of the NUM, will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining procedural efficiencies within the Cardiac Investigations Unit. The ANUM will support and assist the NUM in achieving key performance indicators and provide leadership and mentoring to the nursing team. In the absence of the NUM, the ANUM will manage the professional and operational resources of the Unit.
Responsible for supervising, leading and directing nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care that incorporate the Values and Heath Care Philosophy of the Sisters of Charity
Practices and documents within policies and guidelines, and ensures clinical incidents are accurately documented, escalated and assists with investigation
Demonstrates the ability to assist and support organisational change
Responsible for own professional development and acts as a resource for the multidisciplinary team
Participates in on-call STEMI roster (within 40 minutes)
Classifications for this position will range between YW11 - YW12 ($106,834.00 - $110,432.10 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
APHRA registered nurse with current cardiac cath lab experience
hold a post graduate qualification certificate (or higher) in cardiac or critical care
previous leadership position will be highly regarded
demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to adapt plans in response to clinical need
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Cardiac Investigations Unit
The Cardiac Investigation Unit at St Vincent’s is an innovative cardiac catheter laboratory with a focus on interventional cardiology. The unit functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team that offers the full range of cardiac diagnostic and interventional services, with a focus on improving the quality of life of our patients. The unit operates, Monday to Friday with an emergency on-call roster operating for Registered Nurses.
