Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waitstaff to join our Front of House team. As the face of Hugo Dining, you will provide exceptional service, build rapport with guests, and contribute to a positive and energetic team environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant and is passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Present menus and confidently explain food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Deliver meals and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining room.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including venue setup and pack down.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all front-of-house areas.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
- Follow food safety, RSA, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally, escalating where required.
About You
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is preferred.

Pay: $26.44 – $47.51 per hour
