The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has an opportunity for a Plumbing & Service Technician to join the facilities management team located on Wheatstone, WA . Chevron operates one of the world’s largest LNG projects producing both natural gas for the domestic market and LNG for export internationally. In this role, you’ll focus on maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen and gas appliances across site facilities. Your day will typically start with a pre-start, followed by fault finding, on-site repairs, and workshop-based work where required—ensuring all equipment remains safe, compliant, and operational. This is a casual position commencing July, working a 2:2 roster for 4 to 5 swings, with potential for extension.
About You
- Trade Certificate III – Plumber / Gasfitter
- WA Driver's Licence
- Gas Fitters Licence
- Restricted Electrical Licence
- White Card / Construction Induction
Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
