Job Description
The Lubrication Technician is responsible for the safe installation, servicing and maintenance of workshop lubrication and reticulation systems, including oil, grease, air and water pipework.
The role supports workshop fit‑outs, new equipment installations and ongoing service work, ensuring all systems meet required technical, safety, quality and compliance standards. This position plays a key role in workshop efficiency, equipment reliability and customer satisfaction, representing the business professionally onsite.
Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and layout of workshop lubrication, oil, air and water reticulation systems

Install oil, grease, air and water pipework, hose reels, pumps, tanks and associated components

Interpret drawings, specifications and installation plans

Perform all work in compliance with WHS legislation, company policies, procedures and safe work instructions

Identify hazards, assess risks and apply appropriate controls for installation and service activities

Ensure isolation, depressurisation and lock-out procedures are followed for oil, air and water systems

Maintain required licences, competencies and training for pipework, installation and site access
Qualifications

Trade, mechanical or technical qualification relevant to pipework, fluid systems, hydraulics or workshop equipment Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)

Experience installing and servicing oil, grease, air or water reticulation systems

Exposure to workshop fit-outs or industrial pipework installations

Field-based experience working on active customer sites

Experience with lubrication equipment, pumps, hose reels and fluid transfer systems (desirable)
