As a yd. Store Manager you will:
- Lead your store to deliver consistent sales growth and achieve/exceed store KPIs and budget expectations.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience through the yd. CLASS sales steps and lead by example at all times.
- Build and maintain a high-performance team culture that inspires, motivates and develops your team.
- Coach your team consistently, providing honest, candid and constructive feedback to drive individual and team performance.
- Develop future leaders through succession planning, coaching and ongoing development opportunities.
- Be commercially driven and confident in analysing sales performance, identifying opportunities and taking action to drive results.
- Lead your team through purposeful shift inductions, goal setting and performance conversations.
- Demonstrate strong planning and organisation, including rosters, VM execution, key sale periods, training and operational requirements.
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising, store presentation and operational standards.
- Ensure all store procedures are followed, including Loss Prevention, stock integrity, Payroll, C+C and WH&S requirements.
- Take ownership of your store’s performance and be accountable for delivering results.
- Represent the yd. brand with Energy, Collaboration, Inspiration, Success and Integrity in everything you do.
Skills required:
- Previous experience as a Store Manager or strong Assistant Store Manager within a fashion retail or customer service environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven understanding of KPIs, budgets, sales performance and their impact on a business.
- Ability to analyse performance, identify opportunities and implement strategies to drive sales and growth.
- Strong understanding of customer experience and sales leadership.
- Highly organised with excellent planning, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to recruit, onboard, coach and retain a strong team.
- Confident communicator who is honest, candid, approachable and accountable.
- Ability to lead through change, problem-solve and make commercially sound decisions.
- Strong understanding of store operations, VM standards, stock management and compliance.
- Self-motivated, resilient and driven with a genuine passion for developing people and achieving results.
- A natural leader who can inspire others, create accountability and bring energy to the team every day.
