Your Opportunity
As a Customer Care Consultant in the Mega Mining Quotations Team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to Blackwood’s largest customers. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality support and tailored quotations to some of our most significant clients within the mining sector.
You will be pro-active in looking for solutions that drive the right outcome for both our Mega Mining Customers and the business. You will be empowered to interrogate issues and escalations and be relentless in your pursuit to reach an outcome quickly.
What You’ll be Doing:

Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers within the Mega Mining segment.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting the needs of customers to ensure their full satisfaction by providing timely and quality service

Develop productive working relationships with internal and/or external customers to ensure rapport and trust is built

Plan ahead for upcoming problems or opportunities relevant to customers and recommend and drive appropriate action via strong relationships with internal stakeholders

Interpreting and recommending parts based on descriptions

Handle a high volume of quotation requests for our Mega Mining customers

Develop productive working relationships with internal and/or external customers to ensure rapport and trust is built

Identify, evaluate and recommend alternative products and solutions where required via development of a strong knowledge of customer needs

Undertake general Customer Care and administrative duties in accordance with business standard and service level agreements (SLAs)
What You’ll Bring:

Minimum 2 years Customer Service Experience

An understanding of call routing and contact centre operations (desirable but not essential)

A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for collaboration
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills and the agility to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies
-
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities

Outstanding attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
