Restaurant Manager
Duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and report directly to the owner on business performance and operational matters.
- Coordinate menu planning and development in consultation with chefs, taking into account customer preferences, seasonal availability, and business objectives.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory records, and coordinate the procurement of food, beverages, and other supplies from approved suppliers.
- Assist in budget management by monitoring revenue, expenses, and operational costs, and provide regular reports to the owner.
- Supervise staff performance and customer service standards to ensure efficient restaurant operations and a positive dining experience.
- Recruit, train, roster, and manage restaurant staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace procedures, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards across all areas of the venue.
- Address customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor the presentation and cleanliness of the venue to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Skills and experience:
- Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
- Good attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent leadership, organisational, and customer service skills.
Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)
Location: 4-5 / 6 Calypso Parade North Coogee, WA 6163
Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
