About the role
We are looking for experienced chef or cook who really enjoys fast paced servicesin an Italiian restaurant. You would be working closely with our head chef to run services, food preparation, help with ordering, maintain food standards and to maintain and build a great working environment.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have
- Demonstrated experience as a chef or cook
- Exceptional communication and immaculate presentation
- Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
- Calm and composed demeanour
- Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and genuine interest in the day to day operations
- Experience in effectively maintaining and managing setups, changeovers, closedown and handover
- Excellent attention to detail
- An interest in in Italian & Mediterranean cuisine would also be desirable
