The Shepparton Golf Club is a licensed club venue seeking a passionate and talented Hospitality Manager to join our dynamic team. Set among beautifully maintained greens and a welcoming community atmosphere, our club is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences for members, guests, and event clientele.
About the Role
As Hospitality Manager, you will play a key leadership role in our Food & Beverage area—supporting the General manager in day-to-day operations, The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, maintain high service standards, and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and supervising bar, bistro and function services
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and support staff.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Monitor staffing levels, rosters, and labour costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service quality.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and achieving financial targets.
- Support marketing initiatives and special events.
About You
- Previous experience in a hospitality leadership role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Diploma of Hospitality management or equivalent.
