About the Role
We are seeking a vibrant, organized, and proactive Reservations & Events Coordinator to join our team across our premier dining and event venues located in The Rocks and Darling Harbour.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests and clients, managing daily table reservations, private dining enquiries, corporate bookings, and bespoke functions from initial concept through to execution. You will work closely with front-of-house management, kitchen teams, and our marketing team to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Reservations Management: Oversee daily booking systems, respond to phone and email enquiries promptly, maximize table yield, and manage floor seating plans.
- Event Coordination: Manage end-to-end event bookings (corporate dinners, private dining, celebrations), including drafting function proposals, menus, run sheets, cash handling and invoices.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to tailor packages, accommodate dietary needs, and ensure all event specifications are communicated clearly to operations.
- Collateral & Content Creation: Update daily printed menus, promotional table talkers, function packages, digital displays, and event collateral.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Conduct regular briefings with the operations and culinary teams to ensure flawless event delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a reservations, functions, or events coordination role within hospitality, restaurants, or premium venues.
- Creative Design Skills (Highly Regarded): Hands-on proficiency with Canva, Adobe InDesign, or Adobe Illustrator to create and update function packs, menus, and marketing collateral.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with restaurant booking software (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable, Resy, or similar) is an advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Organization: Strong multi-tasking and time-management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Availability: Flexibility to work full-time hours, including occasional evenings or weekends depending on key event schedules.
- Compliance: Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card (or willingness to obtain one).

Pay: $54,363.19 – $93,573.56 per year
