The Learning Success Advisor is a member of a team of specialist professional staff focusing on student facing support responsible for the facilitation of post-entry academic language and learning support initiatives for all students (domestic and international) and contributes to the University’s strategic initiatives for the provision of learning support.
The Learning Success Advisor works in partnership with faculties, schools, and the library to facilitate the development of discipline specific integrated and embedded programs, develop and evaluate resources for learning skills programs, provide groups and individual learning skills sessions, contribute to the development and delivery of peer-learning initiatives, advise students on personalised learning plans and direct students to relevant learning support resources, monitor student engagement via the centralised learning support portal, administer online diagnostic tools and milestone tasks and contribute to the development of plans, strategies and procedures in line with the University’s strategy.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
post graduate qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a related field (e.g., applied linguistics, Higher Education, TESOL)
