About us:
Central Queensland Oral Health Service provides free dental services to eligible children and adults across the Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Banana, and Central Highlands regions. A wide range of services are available, including dental check-ups, X-rays, fillings, extractions, dentures, dental prosthetics, emergency treatment, and referrals to specialist services. The service also provides advice and support on the best ways to keep your mouth, teeth, and gums healthy.
About the role:
Provide an efficient booking and reception service while prioritising tasks to support a high-quality, client-focused experience using the Information System for Oral Health.
Duties include triaging patients, managing and maintaining waiting lists, creating appointment bookings, and coordinating appointment cancellations and rescheduling in a timely manner.
Maintenance of patient clinical records (electronic and paper-based), ensuring confidentiality is always upheld.
Under direction, assist with procurement activities of Oral Health Services ensuring application of Materials Management guidelines and provide a range of financial administrative support services.
About you:
While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
Demonstrated ability to use strong communication and negotiation skills to respond to inquiries from internal and external clients, researching system capabilities and determining if customer's requests can be met, as well as ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained.
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team and with patients/clients.
Demonstrated ability to use computer-based information systems effectively and efficiently. with expertise for data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $100,585 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $39.98 - $44.46 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
