Operations Coordinator | Education Industry
We are an established RTO located on the Gold Coast looking for a motivated and responsible Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
About the role
This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our campus and helping ensure our students, trainers, and administrative processes run smoothly.
You will work closely with our management and multidisciplinary team, with ongoing training and learning opportunities to develop your knowledge of RTO operations, compliance, and the education industry.
Main responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day campus operations.
- Manage bookkeeping and basic accounts-related tasks.
- Coordinate resources, including recruiting and organising trainers.
- Supervise and support trainers to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Assist with administrative, operational, and compliance tasks.
- Maintain operational processes and procedures required to meet RTO compliance obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate physical and human resources required for the smooth operation of the campus.
- Support continuous improvement across campus operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administration, bookkeeping or accounts.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage challenges confidently
- Responsible, proactive, and highly organised
- Ability to manage resources effectively
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Experience in the education or RTO industry is highly regarded but not essential
