We are currently seeking 3 Disability Support Workers to join our team to support a valued participant in the Rosewood area, with an immediate start available.
About the Role
You will provide consistent daily living support to a participant requiring assistance across a 7-day roster, including:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends (Saturdays & Sundays)
- Public Holidays
This role requires reliability, flexibility, and long-term commitment, as continuity of care is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support (as required)
- Assist with meal preparation and daily routines
- Support community access, appointments, and social activities
- Provide safe transport to and from activities (if required)
- Encourage independence and skill development
- Follow individualised support plans and behaviour strategies
- Maintain accurate shift notes and incident reporting
- Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment
About You
We are looking for compassionate, dependable individuals who are passionate about supporting others. You will ideally have:
- Experience in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, respectful, and person-centred approach
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Reliability to commit to ongoing and rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Blue Card / Working With Children Check (if required)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (preferred)
- Full Australian working rights
