Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in the Operations Leadership team. You will help manage routine and complex claims, resolve customer queries, and elevate the team's technical knowledge and service standards. You will by nature be customer-centric and possess strong leadership skills.
You will:

Use your professional veterinary experience to advise the team on pet health issues and assist in making claims decisions. Serve as the principal veterinary subject matter expert for the claims team, providing authoritative guidance on the accurate interpretation of clinical notes and medical records.
- Design and deliver ongoing educational programmes and workshops to improve the teams’ understanding of clinical treatment and conditions for cats and dogs, ensuring accurate and consistent claims assessment.
- As a representative of the Pet Leadership Team, demonstrate your capacity to self-manage and positively influence those around you to deliver Business Objectives and Customer Experience. Responsible for developing and delivering technical content to both internal and external stakeholders as required.

Knowledge and Experience:
-
Qualified Vet (BVSc or DVM), with at least 3 years’ experience working in a Veterinary practice (essential).
- Ability to work well within the Pet Insurance Team culture.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent people leadership in the workplace.

An ability to influence, develop and coach to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively identify trends and opportunities.
- Sound judgment skills with the ability to interpret evaluate and disseminate information.
