What You'll Be Doing
As our Senior Scientist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Cabot's woodcare portfolio. Working at the intersection of science, innovation and commercial strategy, you'll lead the development of new products and technologies from concept through to market launch. You'll translate consumer insights and emerging market trends into breakthrough woodcare solutions, while partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and external technology partners to deliver innovation that creates real customer value. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise, creativity and problem-solving skills to influence category-leading products, strengthen our innovation pipeline, and help drive the long-term growth of one of Australia's most recognised brands.

What We're Looking For
-
Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or related STEM field.

Proven R&D experience developing formulated products.

Strong experimental design, data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Track record leading product development from concept to commercialisation.

Knowledge of paints, coatings, adhesives, building products or consumer goods.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across teams.

Passion for innovation, sustainability and delivering customer-focused solutions.
