Opportunity for a rare role opening at Club Forma: a trainer who's just as energised by helping the club grow as by helping people get fitter.
This is one role with real diversity of activity. You'll coach clients toward healthier, happier lives, and you'll play a genuine part in growing Club Forma, contributing to our lead generation and marketing. You're drawn to both side equally.
Club Forma is a premier personal training space in Richmond, built on the principle that quality matters in every detail. The club's architecturally fitted-out space sits across two levels: a well-equipped resistance area downstairs, with a cardio zone, dedicated Glute Area, and treatment rooms upstairs, where our allied health tenants (kinesiology and osteopathy) practise and you will receive their services at a discounted staff rate.
Well-thought-out spaces throughout, from the showers and change rooms with their own dedicated chill music, to the bright coffee bar where our community gathers with coffee machine running all day. The feel is luxe but unpretentious.
Our clients are motivated professionals who take their fitness seriously as part of a balanced life. They come for expert coaching and a solid workout, to switch off from the day, and to feel genuinely looked after. More than a gym, Club Forma is a community where people exercise, connect, and feel good among like-minded company.
About you: You're here because you care about being part of a thriving system, and want to grow it, and within it, both as a coach and as someone who helps build the business.
You won't be doing this alone. We have an abundance of ideas, systems, tools, and years of experience to partner with you on this path. Our director, Hayden, is building something real, and he needs someone to stand beside him who can hold genuine ownership.
And because we want this role to be authentic to whoever fills it, we've left room for you to shape it. Bring your flavour. Make it yours.
What you'll need:
- A university degree in either sports/exercise science or business, marketing, or a related growth field
- A vocational certification in whichever of the two you didn't study at university (e.g. Cert III/IV in Fitness if your degree is in business; a marketing or business qualification or demonstrated practical experience if your degree is in sports science)
- Real interest and capability across both coaching and business growth
- A drive for contribution, ownership, and growth
How it works (remuneration):
- A fixed rate per training session you deliver
- A two-tier bonus structure:
- Tier 1: bonus per lead you generate
- Tier 2: triggered when annual business growth targets you've driven are met
Additionally, this is a hire with a long view. For the right fit, there would be a path to part-ownership down the track.
