What does the Business Development Manager role mean at Prinova?
We are looking for an accomplished food ingredient commercial person to join our ANZ Business unit to help drive our next phase of growth. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be integral in driving sustainable growth and enhancing market share in the region. This position will be responsible for managing established accounts as well as developing new opportunities with high growth potential. You will be an ambitious, goal-oriented individual with good negotiating skills and the ability to build trusted relationships. The successful candidate would be comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving commercial environment. Excellent business communication skills are a must, as is being self-motivated and able to multitask, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

What to expect?
- Achieve revenue growth by identifying high-potential accounts, targeting, and closing new business opportunities.
- Proactively build and manage a robust pipeline of leads to achieve aggressive growth targets.
- Forge strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs and ensure long-term retention.
- Represent Prinova as a trusted partner in the Food & Nutrition ANZ market.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Leverage CRM tools to track sales activities, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
- Be across industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.

- Currently active in the supply of ingredients to the Australian Food and Nutrition manufacturing sectors with a track record of success.
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing ingredients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused mindset providing a high level of customer service.
- Analytical skills to evaluate sales trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
