Role Overview
The Executive plans & executes strategic and innovative media solutions across all channels, identifying the optimal media channel mix to maximize business outcomes for each.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Planning & Trading

Confidently plans, manages and executes plans across all offline channels

Confidently uses & understands all buying tools (included but not limited to AQX, eTam, Roy Morgan, Nielsen Answers, Move, Eram)

Responsible for the day to day trading and delivery of all campaigns within client portfolio (buying competencies across all channels, including Television buying, weekly tracking & reporting across R&F goals, TARP delivery, CPM delivery, budget management and quality parameters). Where relevant attend briefings from the Client Lead

Assists the Manager in delivering accurate, punctual and high quality pre-, mid- and post- campaign reporting for the client across all relevant channels

Lead/share market knowledge as key channel champions with broader agency and clients

100% proficiency and accuracy with all financials, budget control, account queries, loading MI’s and Proformas.

Accountable for invoicing process accuracy

Active role in briefing the media owners & publishers
-
Proactive in terms of highlighting issues with buys, media developments, trends or marketplace conditions that impact buying performance, to be raised with the Manager when identified.

Assists the Manager in delivering regular competitive reports and updates to the client, including analysis and insights.

Assists the Manager throughout the planning process, to help deliver a media recommendation across all relevant channels that is innovative/creative, will achieve the client’s objectives and is cost effective.

Assist the Manager and Director in analyzing and evaluating media responses

Develops/adheres to an effective organization and filing system to ensure that documents can be located easily if required later or by colleagues in your absence.

Supports the business and team on new business pitches and other ad hoc projects when required by the Director and/or senior leadership team

What You Will Bring
-
Minimum 12-18 months experience media planning/trading in an agency environment
-
Developing media buying/negotiation skills
-
Understanding of all implementation and buying systems (BCC, eTam, Asteroid, eRam, Move)
-
Developing an understanding of all media channels, with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each channel and the impact these have in delivering on the client objectives

Critical analysis of all survey/market data ensuring informed buying decisions.

Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy

Basic understanding all key mediums and how the marketplace impacts media buys
-
Can gain insights from competitive data and understand the impact on our client’s business, looking for insights that will guide the media strategy

Start to think laterally about the potential solution to a request or client issue.
