Bike Patrol provides Advanced First Aid, stabilization of injured guests during the summer season including MTB and hiking injuries and transportation to the Thredbo Medical Centre while also providing customer service to our guests. At all times this role is required to promote mountain safety through education and the use of trail markers, signage and fencing. It is a requirement to maintain a strong level of knowledge about the resort, as you will need to be able to provide information to guests as required.
Skills & Experience
- Valid ASPA certificate or equivalent overseas qualification
- Valid driver’s licence
- Previous experience in Ski or MTB Patrol, or MTB Park Operations
- Experience driving off-road vehicles, 4x4s or ATVs
- Experience with, or tickets and qualifications related to chainsaws/brush cutters, hand tools, power tools and trail maintenance tools
- Experience with trail markings and hazard signage
- Ability to ride Thredbo’s gravity trails to an intermediate level or above
