Seeking an enthusiastic Project Officer to support the South East Queensland, Technical Support, Visitor Communications Team. You will deliver public-facing communication products for parks and forests, supported by strong project management, communication and stakeholder liaison skills.

You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and can translate management objectives into clear, effective public information.
Your eye for detail ensures all communication products are accurate, accessible, consistent and compliant with relevant legislation, departmental policies, standards and operational requirements.
You have knowledge and understanding of conservation and land management principles and practices, and how these influence visitor management and communication in parks and forests.
You bring experience identifying and addressing visitor communication needs and understanding how effective visitor communications support the protection of natural and cultural values, sustainable recreation, visitor safety, accessibility, and voluntary compliance with regulations.
You demonstrate strong project management capability, including experience delivering multiple visitor communications projects and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

managing design, print and fabrication contractors, ensuring deliverables meet legislative, policy and departmental standards
maintaining productive relationships with operational teams and project stakeholders, including First Nations peoples, land management partners, subject matter experts and contractors
