About the Role
Loau Resources is seeking a reliable and motivated Storeman to join our warehouse team in Kewdale. This role is ideal for someone with strong warehousing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock control and safe warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching cable products and materials while ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving incoming deliveries and checking stock against delivery documentation
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock control processes
- Organising and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
- Conducting stocktakes and assisting with inventory management
- Ensuring all products are stored correctly and safely
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Following company procedures and workplace health & safety policies
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a warehouse or storeman role
- Current Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse systems preferred
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
