We are a small, family-owned bakery located in Forest Lake. Known for our freshly baked goods and friendly service, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming environment for our customers. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Service/Bakery All-Rounder with Barista skills to join our close-knit team. About the Role
As a key member of our team, your role will be varied and dynamic. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service: Greeting and serving customers with a positive, friendly attitude, ensuring a top-tier customer experience.
- Coffee & Food Preparation: Crafting high-quality coffee, making sandwiches, and preparing other light food offerings with care and attention to detail.
- Point of Sale (POS): Handling cash and processing transactions through our POS system (training provided).
- Barista Duties: Operating and maintaining the coffee machine to produce consistently great coffee, ensuring a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keeping the bakery and café area clean, organized, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assisting with various tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the bakery.
- Health & Safety: Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 3-month probation period.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about customer service with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Energetic and thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Experienced with at least 1 year in a similar customer service or café/bakery role, including experience as a Barista.
- Reliable, efficient, and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to pitch in where needed.
- A team player who values collaboration and has a positive attitude.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
