About the Role:
Are you an emerging content professional looking for an opportunity to build your skills and contribute to meaningful marketing work? Join Curtin’s University Marketing team and help create content that inspires future students to choose Curtin.
As a Content Production Assistant, you will support the creation, editing, publishing and maintenance of content across Curtin’s digital, print, campaign and brand channels. Working with experienced content, design and digital specialists, you will help deliver clear, engaging and audience-centred content that supports prospective students from first discovery through to application and enrolment.
This is an opportunity to grow your content career within a globally recognised university, gaining hands-on experience across online and offline touchpoints while contributing to a content ecosystem that is purposeful, cohesive and focused on the needs of future students.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating, editing and proofreading content for a variety of digital and print channels.
- Publishing and maintaining content through Curtin's content management systems and business platforms.
- Supporting content audits, reviews and quality assurance activities.
- Assisting with the delivery of content projects and marketing initiatives.
- Working with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the University to gather information and support content development.
- Applying accessibility, usability and content design principles to improve the user experience.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of content processes, standards and practices.
Who we are looking for:
- Strong written communication and editing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Confidence working with digital tools and systems.
- A genuine interest in content, digital communications, publishing or marketing.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
- Experience using a content management system (CMS).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign.
- Exposure to accessibility, user experience, content design or SEO principles.
- Experience creating content for digital or print channels.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
