About the role
The Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst provides specialist clinical data analysis, reporting and informatics expertise within the Clinical Governance Unit at Redcliffe Hospital. The role supports the delivery of high-quality healthcare through the collection, analysis and interpretation of complex clinical and performance data, enabling informed decision-making, quality improvement and compliance with reporting requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with executives, service line leaders, clinicians and safety and quality teams to develop and maintain reporting systems, investigate performance trends and support strategic initiatives that improve patient outcomes and healthcare service delivery. The role also provides leadership in safety and quality reporting, clinical informatics and data-driven improvement activities across the organisation.
About you

Analyse complex healthcare data and provide meaningful insights, reports and recommendations that support clinical governance, quality improvement and organisational decision-making.
Monitor, investigate and report on clinical performance indicators, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for service improvement.
Develop and maintain reporting systems, dashboards and analytical tools that support effective monitoring of safety, quality and operational performance.
Provide leadership, education and support to stakeholders in the use of clinical information, performance reporting and quality improvement methodologies.
Build strong relationships with executives, managers and clinical teams to support evidence-based decision-making and the achievement of organisational objectives.
