About the Role
The Senior Officer – Commercial Agreements (Remediation Project) will support a critical project to address a suite of expired agreements across the commercial portfolio. This project will enhance Parks Victoria's commercial outcomes, improve tenant relationships and address risks, while aligning with the organisation's environmental, cultural and community values.
The position will coordinate the review of expired agreements and deliver the preparation of new commercial leases, licences, consents and permits within Parks Victoria's governance frameworks. The role ensures documentation quality, due diligence, risk allocation and compliance are consistently applied across the portfolio.
The position acts as a subject-matter resource for agreement processes, workflows, delegations and records, partnering with legal, finance and regional teams to deliver audit-ready outcomes. It contributes to commercial business process improvement and system enhancements that strengthen efficiency and traceability.
About the Team
The Strategy, Planning and Programs Division comprises key centers of expertise that support the place-based management and operations in parks, reserves, and designated local ports and waterways within Parks Victoria's diverse estate.
We're looking for someone with:

Experience in commercial/contract administration, property documentation or regulated approvals.

Relevant qualifications in business, property, law or administration desirable.

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to represent Parks Victoria professionally.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and develop practical solutions.
