Cater Care is seeking a versatile, energetic, and detail-oriented Weekend Catering Assistant / Chef, to work within our friendly team at Uniting - Nareen Gardens, Bateau Bay, NSW
Description:
Roster Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong foundational culinary skills, and takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences from prep to clean-up.
What this role involves:
- Food preparation
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in commercial kitchens, food preparation and catering service would be well regarded
- Valid Food Handler / Food Safety Certification
- Strong Knife skills, basic batch-cooking expertise, and ability to follow standard recipes accurately
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
