Overview:
The General Manager reports to the Chief Business Officer, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Latin America. This role will have a broad scope taking responsibility for the Australian business and leading the local development and implementation of the business strategy.
The GM will provide hands on leadership to the local team and will play an important role in crafting a long-term vision for the business and be empowered to implement and execute growth.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management of the business, including P&L, to increase revenue and maximize profitable growth.

Develop strategic direction, commercial leadership and lead execution as well as oversee the day-to-day operations of the Australian business.

Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing highly motivational work and implementing innovative changes.

Review and monitor daily, monthly, quarterly reports and analytics tied to local performance.

Responsible for financial performance of the business including full ownership of P&L.

Responsible for local sales, marketing, and commercial capabilities. Finance, HR and Supply chain has dotted-line reporting into the GM.

Provide leadership in mentoring and developing team members that emphasize the importance of teamwork, collaboration and sharing of information, resources and best practices that will maintain a high performing team.

Build strong relationships with internal and external business partners and actively support cross functional initiatives to drive improved overall business performance.

Attract, retain and develop talent to ensure sustainable growth by positioning SodaStream as a preferred employer and building a growth and inclusive culture

Serve as key business partner and contributor to growth strategies, tactics, and long-range planning, ensuring that current revenue-generating strategies will drive the organization towards its long terms growth goals while increasing profit.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role – managing a market with a similar scale, experience in launching/driving disproportionate business growth – A must

Experience working with Global Organizations – A must

Marketing and Sales background

Thorough understanding of the local consumer and knowledge of retailer environment

FMCG (preferably) /Home appliance Commercial/retail experience – A must

Digital marketing and digital commerce savvy – A must
