Swift Marine is a well-established Australian family-owned marine manufacturer based on the Gold Coast.
With a strong order book and ongoing government vessel contracts, we are looking for Aluminium Welders / Fabricators to join our growing production team.
You’ll be working on a variety of purpose-built aluminium vessels, including commercial, rescue, police and government boats — not repetitive production-line work.
The Role
Your work will include:
- MIG and TIG welding of aluminium
- Fabrication and assembly of aluminium boat structures
- Reading drawings and working from measurements
- Cutting, fitting and preparing aluminium components
- Fabrication of hulls, consoles, cabins, trailers and other marine components
- Working as part of an experienced boat-building team
What We're Looking For
We'd like to hear from you if you have experience in:
- Aluminium MIG or TIG welding
- General fabrication
- Boat building, marine fabrication, trailers or similar industries
- Using fabrication equipment, hand tools and power tools
- Producing neat, consistent and high-quality work
Boat-building experience is preferred but not essential.
If you're a good aluminium welder or fabricator from another industry, we are happy to provide training in marine construction.

Work Hours
Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 3:00pm
Friday: 6:30am – 12:30pm
Enjoy an early finish every Friday.
