Human Resources Administrator
Melbourne Grammar School has an opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our HR team. This is a casual opportunity based at our South Yarra campus.
This role provides broad administrative support across the HR function, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, staff correspondence, HR data entry and general employee administration. Working closely with members of the HR team, the HR Administrator will help ensure that staff and candidates receive a professional, timely and responsive service.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy team environment, has strong attention to detail and can manage competing priorities with discretion and care.
You will:

Provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Human Resources team and staff across the School

Assist with recruitment administration, including shortlisting, phone screening, reference checking and candidate communication

Coordinate interview arrangements and prepare relevant recruitment documentation for interview panels

Assist with updating position descriptions and job advertisements

Support the onboarding process for new staff, including ensuring relevant checks and documentation are completed

Maintain accurate employee records and enter staff information into HR systems

Prepare employee correspondence, including casual employment contracts

Liaise with Payroll and other internal teams regarding employment-related matters

Assist with the coordination of student teacher placements

Provide general administrative support to the HR team as required
