We have a growth opportunity for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Construction & Infrastructure team in Newcastle, Melbourne, or Brisbane working with Partners, Paul Tobin and Carly Roberts.
About the team and the work
Be a leader in a highly regarded, inclusive team of construction, procurement and infrastructure experts who regularly work with government agencies, state-owned corporations, and large companies.
Work directly with two partners who are senior procurement and infrastructure lawyers and can provide mentorship relating to all phases of projects from conception, tendering and documentation to contract and claim administration and dispute resolution.
This team regularly advises all levels of government on major procurement, construction, and infrastructure projects, as well as energy and resources companies, property developers and major contractors.

About you
At least 5+ years' experience in construction law from a well-regarded practice.
Experience in either front-end (procurement, contract drafting/negotiation) or back-end (disputes, claims, and litigation) work for large construction or infrastructure projects is essential. Experience in both is highly desirable.
As this team continues to grow, your leadership and mentoring skills will be an integral part of ensuring the continued success and growth of the team.
