Introduction:
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Trades Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This role will provide day-to-day support to our skilled welders and machinists, helping ensure materials, equipment and work areas are prepared and ready for production.

About the role
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist with a range of manufacturing activities, including:
- Preparing and moving materials for production.
- Assisting welders and machinists with day-to-day tasks.
- Providing basic support with machines and equipment.
- Assisting with machine set-up and preparation.
- Preparing tools, materials and work areas.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace.
About You
You will be a practical, reliable and motivated person who enjoys working with your hands and being part of a team. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing.
- The ability to follow instructions, procedures and safety requirements.
- A willingness to learn new skills and support experienced tradespeople.
- Good work ethic, reliability and a positive team attitude.
- The ability to work effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
