Job opportunity – Lumara Cleaning Co for Senior Housekeeper / 2IC

Lumara Cleaning Co is a South-West cleaning company specialising in the care and presentation of premium short-stay and private properties across the region. We work across a portfolio of beautiful homes, and we're looking for an experienced, detail-driven housekeeper to step in as 2IC to our Head Housekeeper.
This is a senior position where presentation, consistency and guest experience are everything — and where the care you take directly shapes how each property feels to the owners and guests staying in it.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside and supporting our Head Housekeeper across the premium short-stay properties we manage, this role will involve a variety of hands-on operational and housekeeping responsibilities, which may include:
- Assisting with property cleans and helping maintain presentation standards across the portfolio
- Supporting linen management, including handling, storage, par levels and quality checks
- Checking properties post-clean to make sure they meet our standards before guest arrival.
- Preparing guest touches, including handwritten welcome cards and amenity set-up
- Helping train and support other cleaners on the team to keep standards consistent across every property.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or things that need sorting before a booking.
- Supporting the ordering, organisation and restocking of household consumables and supplies.
- Helping ensure properties remain organised, well-presented and operating smoothly behind the scenes.

Pay: $33.20 – $75.55 per hour
