We are seeking an experienced Relationship Counsellor, Couples Therapist, Psychologist, Mental Health Social Worker, or Clinical Counsellor who is passionate about helping couples strengthen connection, navigate conflict, heal from relational wounds, and create lasting change.
This is a part-time position commencing at two days per week, with the opportunity to grow your caseload and hours over time if you diesire.

About the Role
You will work with individuals and couples experiencing:
- Relationship conflict and communication difficulties
- Trust and betrayal issues
- Attachment and intimacy concerns
- Life transitions and family challenges
- Anxiety, depression, grief, and stress
- Trauma and its impact on relationships
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing collaborative treatment plans.
- Providing high-quality counselling and relationship therapy.
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and records.
- Participating in supervision and ongoing professional development.
- Collaborating with other clinicians to provide holistic client care.
About You
You are a compassionate and skilled clinician who enjoys working relationally and values creating meaningful change for clients.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualification in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work.
- Current registration with AHPRA, ACA (Level 3 or above), PACFA Clinical, or AASW.
- Experience working with couples and relationship issues, or a strong desire to develop in this area.
- Strong clinical assessment and counselling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
Highly Regarded:
Experience, training, or interest in:
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Attachment-Based Therapy
- Polyvagal-Informed Practice
- EMDR or Brainspotting
- Trauma-Informed Relationship Therapy
We are particularly interested in clinicians who understand (or disire to learn about) the intersection between trauma, attachment, and relationship dynamics and who are passionate about helping couples move from disconnection to connection.
