We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Underground Mine Technician to join our close-knit Production team at Cadia. As a Production Road Crew Operator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining underground roadways and ensuring safe access for personnel and equipment across the mine. Working as part of a collaborative crew, you'll operate underground mobile equipment and contribute to road maintenance and site-wide production activities.
- Operate underground production and road maintenance equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain haul roads, intersections, passing bays, and work areas to required standards

Assist with scaling, bogging, clean-up, and general underground services activities

Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects

Identify hazards and apply critical controls to manage risk

Participate in safe production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain housekeeping standards and support a positive safety culture

Specific tasks as directed by the Underground Shift Supervisor.
- Proven track record in promoting and managing safety in the workplace

Willingness to take ownership of issues associated with your role

Experience operating underground mobile equipment such as integrated tool carriers

Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving

Manual C Class Driver's License and Working at Heights ticket is required
