We're excited to welcome a Patient Support Assistant to our Food Services team.
As a Patient Support Assistant, improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will take pride in the high quality and nutritional food and beverage service you deliver by preparing, plating and presenting meals for distribution. You will work as part of a dynamic team following procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment and receiving, storing and rotating stock.
Operational Support Services includes Integrated Operational Support Services and Food Services. The Integrated Operational Support Services provides the resources to support cleaning, linen supply, waste collection and staff for patient movement (porterage). Food Services is specifically responsible for the production and delivery of meals including menu planning and management, the preparation of patient meals, stocking of unit pantries and beverage bays throughout the facility.
The Patient Support Assistant for Food Services reports to the Coordinator Patient Support Assistant.

Key Responsibilities include:
Maintain a clean and safe environment and follow kitchen and personal hygiene standards.
Assist with stock receipt, storage and appropriate stock rotation.
Assist in the preparation of food items and prepare sandwiches and salads.
Plate and present meals and beverages for distribution from the kitchen to the inpatient units and residential units.
Salary between $63 807 - $68 075 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $32.18 - $34.33 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) (OO2) (full time and part time positions available).
