About the Role
This trainee position is designed for someone eager to learn the foundations of professional dog grooming. You’ll work closely with experienced groomers and daycare staff, gradually building skills in bathing, drying, brushing, coat maintenance, and safe handling. You’ll help maintain a calm, organised grooming environment and support the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who genuinely loves dogs, shows patience and kindness, and brings a positive attitude to each day. Preferably, you’ll have around six months of experience working in an animal‑related environment , but this is not essential. Reliability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn are the qualities that matter most.
Progression Opportunities
As your skills develop, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more advanced grooming responsibilities. We offer a clear pathway for motivated team members to progress into senior roles, including becoming a Lead Dog Groomer.
