We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join our Rooms Division team! As a key leader within Front Office operations, you will play an essential role in creating warm, personalised guest experiences and ensuring seamless coordination across hotel departments. You will support Duty Managers in the smooth and efficient running of the Front Desk and lobby, lead by example during guest interactions, and help develop the capability and confidence of the Front Office team. Your focus will be on strong communication, hands‑on leadership, and ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for.
The Role:
- Lead and support daily Front Desk and lobby operations
- Coordinate arrivals, departures, room allocations, VIP setups and crew requirements
- Manage guest inquiries, requests and concerns with professionalism and warmth
- Ensure smooth communication between all hotel departments
- Assist with check‑ins, check‑outs and reservations when required
- Support service recovery and uphold Hyatt service standards
- Coach, guide and develop Front Office team members
- Maintain a visible, hands‑on presence to deliver exceptional guest service
The Person
- Previous experience in guest services, hotel front desk, or customer support (preferably in hotels)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns with professionalism
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- A positive, energetic attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Previous experience with Opera is advantageous
- Manual drivers license highly desirable
