Join Our Team as a Part-Time House Supervisor – Elm St, Bayswater Location
Direct Care Assistance (DCA), a leading NDIS service provider, is seeking an experienced, organised, and passionate House Supervisor to join our team on a part-time permanent basis at our Elm St, Bayswater location.
As a House Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a Supported Independent Living (SIL) residence, ensuring high-quality care and a safe, structured, and person-centred home environment. You will also support and guide a team of support workers in delivering consistent and compliant care to participants with disability support needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a team of disability support workers to deliver quality, person-centred care
- Oversee daily house operations including compliance, documentation, and medication management
- Ensure accurate reporting, shift handovers, and incident documentation
- Support the implementation of care plans for participants with complex needs and behaviours
- Collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and key stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with NDIS standards, policies, and organisational procedures
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful living environment
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or Team Leader role within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple participants within a SIL setting.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Confident in documentation, reporting, and managing competing priorities
- Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
- Ability to lead by example and support a positive team culture
Essential Requirements
- Cert. IV in Disability Support
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Access to a personal motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Victorian Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Completion of NDIS Orientation and New Worker Modules
- Proof of right to work in Australia
