Mechanical Engineer – Electroplating
SEC PLATING PTY LTD is an Australian-owned company established in 1947, specialising in electroplating and industrial coating services for customers across Australia and internationally. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Electroplating, to support the design, optimisation, maintenance and continuous improvement of our specialised manufacturing processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for electroplating and industrial coating processes.
- Design and improvement of plating plant, equipment and process systems.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee installation, commissioning and maintenance of production equipment.
- Analyse production processes and implement engineering solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with quality, safety and environmental compliance requirements.
About You
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial processing, electroplating, surface finishing or industrial coatings is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and project management skills.
- Familiarity with quality systems and engineering standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a manufacturing environment.
