Kitchen Staff – Fish Boy Hawthorne
Location: Hawthorne, BrisbanePosition: Casual / Part-Time (with the opportunity for more hours)
Fish Boy Hawthorne is a busy, family-owned fish and chip restaurant looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Team Member to join our crew.
We’re searching for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing quality food, and works well as part of a team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking fish, seafood, burgers and other menu items
- Operating deep fryers and grills
- Preparing salads and other fresh ingredients
- Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe kitchen
- Assisting with stock rotation and food preparation
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting the team wherever needed
What we’re looking for:
- Previous commercial kitchen experience is preferred (but we’re happy to train the right person)
- Able to work well under pressure
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Available to work nights, weekends and public holidays
- Food safety knowledge is an advantage
