Campbelltown Emergency Department is one of the busiest and most dynamic EDs in South Western Sydney, caring for a diverse patient population across emergency, paediatric, mental health, acute medical and trauma presentations. The department continues to grow, supported by recent Safe Staffing Level enhancements and a strong commitment to clinical excellence and workforce development.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in developing the capability, confidence and clinical excellence of our nursing workforce.
About The Role
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide leadership in clinical education, support staff development and facilitate evidence-based practice across the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit. Working collaboratively with Nursing and Medical leadership, you will foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth and patient-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating orientation, onboarding and transition programs for nursing staff.
- Supporting graduate nurses, new starters and staff undertaking specialty emergency education.
- Delivering education sessions, simulation training and clinical competency assessments.
- Providing clinical support and mentorship at the bedside. •Facilitating quality improvement initiatives and promoting evidence-based practice.
- Supporting staff to achieve professional development goals and career progression.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

- Relevant post-graduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing and/or Clinical Education.
- Extensive emergency nursing experience.
